Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK): Current price $3.55
The Finnish corporation now affirms that it does have Lumia 928 almost ready to go. The somewhat altered version of its Lumia 920 flagship should launch on Verizon’s (NYSE:VZ) network, even though neither firm is releasing any official dates at he moment. Nokia has placed a teaser image on its website, with some print ads as well. In keeping with its new differentiation strategy, the firm is concentrating heavily on camera capabilities and promoting its PureView brand.
Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA): Current price $20.95
Analysts at Pacific Crest say that the company’s fiscal year 2014 guidance seems aggressive. Electronic Arts provided higher-than-anticipated adjusted earnings guidance for the year, but Pacific Crest does not believe that the firm’s cost controls are the answer to its quality problems. The research firm thinks its physical sales outlook is very aggressive and it maintains a Sector Perform on the shares.
Cobalt International Energy (NYSE:CIE): Current price $26.91
On Wednesday, Cobalt announced the pricing of a previously reported registered underwritten public offering of 50 million shares of its common stock, all of which will be sold by selling stockholders that are affiliates of First Reserve, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Riverstone Holdings LLC, The Carlyle Group, and KERN Partners Ltd, at an initial price to the public of $26.80. The underwriter has been allowed an option, exercisable within 30 days, to buy as many as additional 7.5 million shares of the stock from certain of the selling stockholders on the same terms and conditions. Cobalt expects the offering to close on May 10.
