Oracle Corp. Agrees to Buy Cloud Computing Firm RightNow Technologies, Inc.

Database company Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ:ORCL) announced this morning its intent to acquire cloud computing firm RightNow Technologies (NASDAQ:RNOW) in a deal valued at $1.5 billion.

(NASDAQ:RNOW): The shares closed at $35.96 on Friday.  The shares have traded in a 52-week range of $18.74 to $39.48 and its market capitalization is $1.2 billion.  About the company: RightNow Technologies, Inc. provides on demand customer relationship management software and services.  The Company’s solution includes a self-learning knowledgebase to deliver customer self-service, e-mail management, live interaction, issue tracking, and customer satisfaction measurement capabilities.
