Photos: Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry Is Selling His Modest Mansion for $3.2 Million
Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry is living the dream. His lucrative career as one of the NBA’s top players has allowed him to live a life most of us could only dream of. One perk of his fat paycheck is being able to enjoy comfortable housing. Curry is selling his five-bedroom, six-bathroom Walnut Creek, California, mansion and upgrading to a larger home in Alamo. The home was first listed in October 2016 for $3.7 million. The price has dropped back down to the price it was when Curry first purchased it in 2015.
Despite the price drop on the property, Curry has seen some very good days when it comes to real estate. He knows how to come out on top when making a deal. In June 2016, he sold his Orinda, California, home for $4.65 million. The basketball player managed to score $755,000 more than the reported asking price and $1.55 million more than he paid for the property three years prior.
We’d like to think the two-time MVP is winning both on and off the court. Now, let’s take a look at pictures of this stunning California home, shown by Andy Reid and Ana O’Byrne of Caldecott Properties.
Home sweet home
You won’t have to worry about safety, as this home is gated and has plenty of light. In addition, the home alarm, security cameras, media, and built-in speakers are powered by a Control4 home automation system. The home, which was built between 2006 and 2014, is a Santa Barbara-style Mediterranean design. Who wouldn’t want to come home to this?

New and improved
Plenty of upgrades have been made on the mansion. In 2015, Curry spruced up the house with $400,000 worth of improvements. The kitchen area was used to shoot segments for the Food Network. So it was redesigned to include an island with a Carrara marble top in addition to two Sub-Zero refrigerators, two Miele dishwashers, a Miele coffee system and microwave, a Wolf warming drawer, and a La Cornue range and hood. The real estate agents also note the cabinets, floors, countertops, and island were replaced.

Paint the town
There’s nothing like a fresh coat of paint to brighten up any home. Curry gave the home new life by having the entire property painted. Lighting was also replaced with the majority of the fixtures purchased from Restoration Hardware. The master bathroom was rebuilt to include a walk-in steam shower, German Dornbracht faucets, and a BainUltra therapeutic bathtub.

Plenty of space and light
Space and lighting are two of the most important features of any home. No one wants to live in a dark, cramped house. Fortunately, this home is neither of those things. Just about every room has access to the terrace and patios, so you’re never far from green, outdoor space. In addition, the ceiling height is just about 20 feet. There is also an open kitchen concept.
Next: Have a seat.
If you have guests over often, this will be the ultimate spot for get-togethers. However, friends and family might not want to leave, so you might have to prepare one of your five bedrooms in advance. Entertaining guests will be a breeze in the spacious living room and seating areas. There are more than enough options for enjoying some down time. Whether you’re having a party or just relaxing, you have several places to kick your feet up and enjoy the views.
