Melania and Donald travel in style. When they need to go somewhere on business, they don’t have to bother with booking a flight on a commercial airline like the rest of us. Flying in Air Force One is a perk few of us will ever experience.

Flying on Air Force One is so great former president Barack Obama even sang its praises. CNN reports Obama told a group of graduating cadets at the Air Force Academy: “You take good care of me. You are always on time. You never lose my luggage. I don’t have to take off my shoes before I get on. I am really going to miss Air Force One.”

Operating Air Force One isn’t cheap. The Washington Post reports Donald Trump’s travel during his first 10 months in office cost taxpayers more than $10 million. What’s more, it costs roughly $200,000 an hour to operate Air Force One.

Another expensive part of presidential travel is ground transportation. “Then there are the limos. Affectionately known as ‘The Beast,’ the presidential limos are heavy-duty armored vehicles built on a General Motors commercial truck platform with a Cadillac body. These monsters feature everything from full-ballistic protection to an on-board cache of blood for the president in case of a medical emergency,” reports Business Insider.
