On Tuesday, The company made an announcement that it licensed the ARMv7 and ARMv8 chip architectures, which lets the company develop and build its own high-performing ARM-based processors. The company will only reveal that this agreement allows “a broad range of market applications including broadband access and set-top box.”

Qualcomm hosted a keynote last night at CES, and it confused everyone in the room. Usually, the keynote is given by Microsoft, and Qualcomm made its best attempt to fill Microsoft’s shoes. It chose the theme “Born Mobile.”

According to Bloomberg, the company received an untoward ruling by a U.S. District Judge in a long lasting antitrust battle with Micron Technology Inc. This means that Rambus will not be able to demand royalties from Micron for using its 12 patented DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) chip designing technologies.

The company has outperformed the SPX by 39 percent in the past 60 sessions, and now it saw a sharp boost exceeding 40 percent in 52 weeks’ time.
Rackspace Hosting, Inc. (NYSE:RAX): Current Price: $77.82
In 2008 the company became public, and then the stock market collapsed, bringing Rackspace’s share price down with it. However, the IPO did its job by raising the necessary capital for the company, and Rackspace was able to deal with these issues. Since 2009, the stock value has increased 15-fold.
