RadioShack LAUNCHES Mobile Plans and 2 Morning Hot Stocks Buzzing Today

Long-awaited prepaid mobile plans are finally launched by RadioShack (NYSE:RSH) and Leap Wireless (NASDAQ:LEAP). Offered on two Huawei phones, the Radioshack branded plans offer 1,000 minutes for $35 per month, and no-limit voice calling and data of 1GB for $50 per month. These plans come after MetroPCS’ (NYSE:PCS) recent reduction of its unlimited prepaid mobile plan to $55 a month.

Ford (NYSE:F) reports all-time high August sales, up 13 percent to 197,429 vehicles. Truck sales were up 6.1 percent to 71,374 units, passenger car sales grew 7 percent to 62,250 vehicles and utilities climbed 27.8 percent to 63,225 vehicles.

Pfizer’s (NYSE:PFE) Inlyta drug for advanced kidney cancer receives marketing approval from the EU after permissions from the U.S. FDA, Switzerland, Japan, Canada, Australia and South Korea. The drug is useful for patients who have not benefited from treatment with two other drugs, sunitinib or a cytokine.
