Rambus, NVIDIA Sign Agreement on Patent Licenses

Technology licensing company Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) announced today it has signed a patent license agreement with NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA).

The agreement is good for a period of five years and involves the use of Rambus patented modifications in a wide variety of NVIDIA’s integrated circuit products. The companies have also resolved all outstanding claims, including past use of Rambus’ patented innovations. No other details were released.

“This is an important license agreement as it settles our differences and allows us to move forward with NVIDIA, the leader in visual and parallel computing,” Rambus President and CEO Harold Hughes said. “Looking forward, we have the opportunity to focus on developing innovative solutions in concert with our licensees to help bring compelling, innovative products to market.”
