Amazon Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) announced its new In-App Purchasing Service that enables developers to let customers use their Amazon accounts to purchase virtual goods and currencies from inside of Mac, PC and web-based games. Customers can therefore use any credit card, gift certificate or promotional credit associated with the current Amazon account to purchase in app items.

According to BGR, the new Blackberry Z10 smartphone from Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) is likely to be priced at around $149 or below with a two-year agreement. Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC), the second largest cable operator in the US, revealed plans to spend about $50 million on an ad campaign designed to win back former customers lost to satellite and telecom rivals such as Verizon (NYSE:VZ) and AT&T (NYSE:T). Titled “The Better Guarantee,” the campaign will highlight the improvements in the service over the past few years. “We, as a company, are fundamentally different and better than we were a few years ago when these upstart competitors started coming in,” said Jeffrey A. Hirsch, the chief marketing officer for residential services at Time Warner Cable, and reported by the New York Times.

Access National (NASDAQ:ANCX) reports fourth quarter EPS of $0.60 and revenue of $8.7 million which beat by $0.23 and $0.7 million respectively. The quarter represents the companys 7th consecutive record quarterly earnings and its 50th consecutive quarterly profit over its 13 year history. The company declared a cash dividend of $0.09 per share.
