Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) shipped 3.9M Fire tablets in Q4, allowing it to garner a double-digit share of the market, at 14.3%, added IHS iSuppli. Apple’s own newly introduced iPhone 4S proved to be the strongest competitor for the iPad during the final three months of 2011, as iPhone 4S cannibalized iPad sales, the firm said.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM): Senator Harry Reid, a Democrat and the Senate Majority Leader, intends to bring cybersecurity legislation directly to the floor of the Senate over the next few weeks, bypassing amendments and votes by committee members, according to The Hill. The legislation would give the Department of Homeland Security the ability to regulate computer systems deemed crucial to national security ,the publication said.

AT&T Inc. (NASDAQ:DISH) or MetroPCS Communications (NYSE:PCS).
