The S&P 500 (NYSEARCA:SPY) is up today by 0.79% and stands at 1,248. Here are three well-performing stocks.
Estee Lauder Companies (NYSE:EL): The FQ1 report was nothing short of fantastic. FQ1 had earnings per share hit $1.41, which was a whole $0.23 higher than expect. Revenues of 2.5 billion were 100 million higher than expected as well. Estee Lauder is up a glamourous 15.36%.

Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM): A good FQ4, margin on phone chips better than expected, those sales remain healthy, so thumbs up for Qualcomm. Their Snapdragon chips are expensive but doing very well, and their continued success bodes well for Qualcomm. The stock is up 6.65%.
Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR): Corporate reports all in all have been quite good this earnings season, even with all of the global concerns weighing on the market. Alpha expects strong coal demand in 2012 at any rate, especially the company’s expensive metallurgical coal. Revenues are up an astounding 130% year over year. Alpha Natural Resources ip up 11.41%.
