Analyst Issues RIMM New Price Target, Halliburton Overweight, Home Depot a Buy Rating

Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM): Baird maintained its Underperform rating on Research in Motion following its change in both the CEO and Chairman positions. The firm said the moves do not impact the strategic outlook for the company and that challenges will remain including margin compression and declining shipments. Price target is $13.

Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL): Morgan Stanley believes Halliburton’s international outlook is under appreciated and should drive multiple expansion. Shares are Overweight rated.

The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD): Argus increased its target on Home Depot, citing signs that the housing market is stabilizing. The firm maintains a Buy rating on the stock.

VMware, Inc.(NYSE:VMW): Needham raised its estimates and price target for VMware following the company’s Q4 results and 2012. The firm believes the company’s bookings strength is showing momentum and reiterates a Buy rating on the stock.

Sanofi-Aventis (NYSE:SNY): Leerink says Sanofi’s FDA approval of its manufacturing plant in Framingham for the production of Fabrazyme came in earlier than expected. The firm finds the approval an important step in the validation of the company’s Genzyme acquisition and believes shares of Sanofi offer an attractive risk/reward.
