Stock Analysis: GM, SanDisk, Chesapeake Energy, Regeneron, Mattel Feb. 13th

General Motors Corporation(NYSE:GM): Sterne Agee believes Europe and South American results will weigh on shares when it reports Q4 results on Thursday. The firm expects the company to take a $1B charge for Europe and prefers to buy shares in the lower $20’s.

SanDisk Corp.(NASDAQ:SNDK): After performing a sum of the parts analysis, RBC Capital believes that SanDisk has a hypothetical break-up value of $68-$83. The firm believes that the stock’s current valuation represents a compelling entry point and it maintains a Top Pick rating.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation(NYSE:CHK): JP Morgan is skeptical of Permian’s asset sale valuation and believes the $1B bond offering indicates Chesapeake’s near-term need for cash. Shares are Underweight rated.

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.(NASDAQ:REGN): Leerink raised its target range for Regeneron shares after the company raised its 2012 revenue guidance substantially. The firm keeps an Outperform rating on the stock.

Mattel Inc.(NASDAQ:MAT): UBS believes Mattel is i the midst of multi-year margin expansion cycle driving above trend earnings growth. The firm reiterates its Buy rating and raised its price target to $36 from $33.
