Tale of Two Economies Continues as Mercedes-Benz Sales Rise 22%

Last Friday, BLS unemployment data worsened from 9.5% to 9.6%. But high-income earners aren’t concerned.

Sales of luxury branded Mercedes-Benz vehicles rose 22% in August, according to Daimler AG (DAI). It was “the tenth consecutive month of double-digit increases.” This is the same sales trend Jaguar and Land Rover reported in early August.

Although the Two-Class America theme continues to unfold, the Tale of Two Recoveries across the globe seems to be a similar chapter of the same story.
