Tech Business Review: Zynga Sues Former GM, Samsung’s Chip-Making Deal

Zynga (NASDAQ:ZNGA) has brought a lawsuit against its former general manager for CityVille, Alan Patmore, for allegedly swiping trade secrets. The firm says that Patmore, who currently works for competitor Kixeye, backed up 760 sensitive files about subjects such as monetization plans, revenue projections, and new game designs on the day before he exited.

Samsung (SSNLF.PK) is now making chips for Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA), and Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), according to a company official to the Korea Times. Rumors have it that both firms are exploring partnerships with Samsung because their principal foundry partner Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (NYSE:TSM) is having difficulties with supplies for its state-of-the-art 28nm manufacturing process.
