Thailand Floods Continue to Hit These Companies
Severe flooding in Thailand (NYSE:THD) continues to affect the manufacturing and production of companies with ties to the region.
On Thursday, Dell Inc.’s (NASDAQ:DELL) stock fell after the company said with possibles disruptions from its supplier Western Digital Corporation (NYSE:WDC) it may alter the company’s production schedule. The impact of the flooding has affected factories north of Bangkok, but it may be moving toward the country’s capital.
Analysts have said these other companies in the region may also be impacted by the flood: Toledo Mining (TMC), Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ), and Nissan Motor (NSANY.PK).
