The Baltic Dry Index lost 0.598% or 13 points to settle at 2160. It was a rare stumble for dry bulk shipping rates.

2) Century Logistics Holdings Berhad acquired M.T. Qaseh, an oil tanker, from a subsidiary of Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad. The purchase price was 4.75 million US dollars.

3) Korea Line Corp. conducted a common share private placement. There were 16,630,285 shares issued at KRW 100,000 per share with a par value of KRW 5,000.
