The details are out, including the 2018 salaries of some of Hollywood’s top stars. Plus, the biggest earner who has been leading the pack for years now (No. 1).

15. Bryce Dallas Howard

  • $8 million for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
  • Net worth: $15 million

Jurassic World was the fourth-highest grossing movie of all time ($1.5 billion). Bryce Dallas Howard shared with Redbook the reality of being a woman in the industry and the battle against pay inequity for women and men.

“I know that we’re privileged; we don’t have to worry about paying our rent or our medical bills. But I wish people knew that this is what the life of most successful female celebrities is. What we get paid is totally, completely, astronomically different than what male celebrities get paid. And for women of color, it’s a hundred times worse.” The star scored a pay raise for Jurassic World‘s sequel.

The Mary Poppins and A Quiet Place star has plenty of hits set to grace the silver screen over the next few years. As she gains notoriety, she also acquired the ability to argue a more competitive salary — like nearly $10 million for starring in Disney’s Jungle Cruise, set to start production in Spring 2018.

The 19th-highest paid actor in 2017 is still holding up well for 2018 — he scored a raise for Jurassic World‘s sequel after the first installment grossed over $1.5 billion. According to The Sunday Express, Pratt could make up to $100 million if all four anticipated Jurassic World films become a reality.

If it seems like Kevin Hart’s everywhere, it’s only because he is. The stand-up comedian, actor, and father never seems to sit still. He’s filmed at least two movies every year for the last decade. In 2016 he tripled his 2015 earnings and made $87.5 million mainly from touring his stand-up.

Robert Downey Jr.’s performance as Iron Man made him so profitable he can garner a $10 million salary just for cameos like his 15-minute appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Downey was the highest-paid actor in Hollywood in 2015. While he fell to the sixth spot in 2017, he can still make over $20 million just for large Iron Man appearances.

DiCaprio’s $10 million salary for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is actually surprisingly low for the actor. As one of the most sought-after Hollywood actors, DiCaprio can make $25 million for a leading role like he did in Wolf of Wall Street.

It turns out DiCaprio agreed to halve his usual salary to star in Tarantino’s film. According to the director, the historical film “takes place at the height of the counterculture explosion.”

The Ocean’s 8 star earned $10 million for voicing Scarlet Overkill in Minions, her highest-grossing movie to date ($1.1 billion). Bullock’s films grossed a staggering $5.1 billion worldwide as of May 2017. According to The Numbers, that makes her the 29th most profitable movie star in the world.

8. Harrison Ford

Ford was paid more than 50 times more than his costars for his role in 2015’s Star Wars: A Force Awakens, earning an estimated $34 million. Ford’s films grossed over $4.7 billion in the U.S. and over $6 billion internationally as of 2016. He’s the second highest-grossing U.S. box-office star.

In 2012 he was the highest-paid actor in the world and in 2017 he was the seventh highest-grossing film star in the U.S. Actors at Cruise’s level can request they get their bonus up-front before the film release. Between The Mummy and Mission: Impossible 6, Cruise earned an eight-figure salary this year alone.

6. Seth Rogen

Rogen made the highest-paid actor list for the first time in 2015 due to his $6.5 million paycheck for The Interview. He starred in Neighbors the same year and made a cameo alongside new-earner Jonah Hill in 22 Jump Street.

Rogen is set to make $15 million for his leading role as a journalist in Flarsky (2019).

5. Jennifer Lawrence

“I feel I know my worth, and I feel like I work to keep it that way,” she told 60 Minutes in February 2018. Lawrence isn’t done earning anytime soon — she told Vanity Fair that she’s “toying with the idea of becoming a billionaire.”

Live-action Barbie doesn’t come cheap, it seems. Anne Hathaway, who is taking on the titular role of the popular child’s toy, is reportedly making $15 million for the role. Hathaway criticized Hollywood for its stark gender inequality.

“I don’t say that with anger or judgment,” she said. “It’s a statistical fact … I’ve never been in a film like (Ocean’s 8). It just kind of makes you aware of the ways you sort of unconsciously change yourself to fit certain scenarios,” she told Elle.

Diesel made Fast and Furious in 2000 before anyone knew it had the potential to turn into a multibillion-dollar franchise. Now he’s earning over $20 million for The Fate of the Furious, the franchise’s eighth installment.

He earned around $54 million for various different combined projects including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and XxX: The Return of Xander Cage.

2. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

The Rock truly is one-of-a-kind. The former WWE champion moved from high-earning wrestler to Hollywood’s top-earning actor list. He was the second-highest paid actor in 2017 and made up-front money for Baywatch and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

He’ll make a reported $22 million for Universal Picture’s Red Notice which isn’t set to start filming until 2019.

1. Daniel Craig

  • Net worth: $95 million

No one grosses more money than James Bond, himself. Craig will reportedly make $25 million for Bond 25 (2019), his fifth appearance in the Bond series.

The $25 million Bond 25 salary doesn’t include what Craig will likely earn for 007-related appearances. Still, it makes him the highest-paid Hollywood actor this year and easily set for retirement if he chooses to turn in Bond’s keys for good.
