US Markets were hammered today as more unrest in the Middle East frightens investors. Here are today’s after hours most active:
1) Hewlett-Packard Comp. (NYSE:HPQ): Shares of the large computer provider dropped $5.39 or 11.18% after reporting a pop in fiscal Q1 earnings of 16%. The rise came on increased sales but revenue growth missed. Also, current quarter guidance was not what investors wanted to hear.
2) Nordson Corp. (NASDAQ:NDSN): Shares of the dispensing equipment manufacturer surged $13.50 or 13.99% after reporting a fiscal Q1 earnings jump of 72%. The increase came on higher sales, improved margins, and a great outlook for the current quarter.
3) Mohawk Industries Inc (NYSE:MHK): Shares of the producer of floor covering products are down $0.84 or 1.46% after announcing Q4 earnings that increased more than 100%. However, revenue did not meet analyst expectations.
4) Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE:CHK): Shares of the natural gas producer are down $0.47 or 1.47% after reporting a Q4 earnings profit. Although, revenue for the company decreased on lower prices.
