US Markets bounced back after taking an extreme hit yesterday. Here are today’s after hours most active:
1) Greif Inc. (NYSE:GEF): Shares of the producer of industrial packaging products and services are down $3.61 or 5.52% after issuing a disappointing report to investors. The company reported a surge in fiscal Q1 earnings of 67% but it seems as if earnings missed investors expectations.
2) Sigma Designs Inc. (NASDAQ:SIGM): Shares of the system-on-chip solutions provider are down $1.10 or 8.03% after reporting adjusted earnings that shrunk. The CEO, Thinh Tran, also said that revenue fell across 3 market segments. However, Q4 eps grew on improved sales and margins.
3) Hot Topic Inc. (NASDAQ:HOTT): Shares of the specialty retailer are flat at $5.28 after reporting a better than expected loss across same-store sales for the month of February. The company did not do so well against one of its largest competitors, Zumiez (NASDAQ:ZUMZ) who posted better than expected same-store sales.
4) Sauer-Danfoss Inc. (NYSE:SHS): Shares of the mobile equipment manufacturer are up $4.34 or 14.32% after reporting a huge increase in Q4 eps. Q4 eps last year was -$1.55 and $2.60 this year. Revenue almost doubled and the company also issued upbeat guidance for the fiscal 2011 year.
