This is How Much Princess Eugenie Spends on Her Clothing
Although Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle receive a lot of attention for their clothing choices, Princess Eugenie of York is also a stylish member of the British Royal family. Her eye-catching style makes her one to watch when it comes to the latest fashions. Here are some of her most expensive outfits and accessories.
Alice & Olivia floral dress
- Price: $595
In May 2018, Princess Eugenie attended the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Ceremony at Buckingham Palace with Prince William and Princess Beatrice. Eugenie chose to wear a floral dress by Alice & Olivia. The dress had a white background and was designed with kimono sleeves and a v neckline. The princess’ dress cost $595.
- Price: $1,586
No outfit is complete without the perfect bag. Princess Eugenie carried an M2Malletier clutch on the opening day of Royal Ascot in 2018. (This event is when royals come to the town of Ascot for a five-day horse race.) The purse is made of 100% calf leather and has a detachable leather shoulder strap. Eugenie paired the bag with a white dress and matching hat. If you want to purchase this bag, you’re out of luck. It is currently sold out.
One-shoulder Roland Mouret floral dress
- Price: $1,587
This was an unusual outfit choice for a royal. Princess Eugenie opted for a dress over pants when she attended the Serpentine Summer party in London in June 2018. The blue one-shoulder Roland Mouret floral dress was combined with a pair of leather skinny pants and $783 black pumps. Royal women aren’t usually seen in pants or in leather, so this look surprised quite a few people.
Red Eponine London dress
- Price: $1,926
The princess was a vision in red during an event for the Queen. Back in 2016, Princess Eugenie wore a red Eponine dress with cutouts for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday celebration at St. Paul’s cathedral. She paired the dress with a navy blue hat, a black purse, and black pumps. Her sister, Beatrice, wore a patterned black and white outfit from Burberry.
Osman Studio coat dress
- Price: $2,726
The princess wore a white Osman Studio coat dress to the 2018 opening day of Royal Ascot. Osman is reportedly also one of Lady Gaga’s favorite labels, according to Daily Mail. Royal watchers noted how this all-white look seemed to be a nod to Princess Eugenie’s upcoming nuptials. She paired it with an M2Malletier clutch, nude Maison Valentino heels ($743), and a white hat.
Floral Erdem dress
- Price: $5,175
Princess Eugenie wore a floral Erdem cocktail dress for her engagement announcement photo. She chose to shop her closet and wore a dress she already owned. The princess was seen in this dress during her 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
She also wore a pair of black Jimmy Choo heels. Eugenie’s dress was a lot more expensive than the dress Meghan Markle wore for her engagement announcement. The Duchess of Sussex wore a $659 green shift dress from Italian designer PAROSH. She completed the look with a $531 white wrap coat from Canadian designer LINE.
