Transportation Sector Review: UPS and FedEx Work-hour Restrictions for Pilots

United Parcel Service (NYSE:UPS), FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX): U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said he’ll ask UPS (NYSE:UPS) and FedEx (NYSE:FDX) to voluntarily adopt work-hour restrictions for pilots that have already been imposed on the pilots of passenger airlines, according to The Detroit News.

UPS shares closed at $76.99, up $0.13, or 0.17%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $73.81 billion. FDX shares closed at $89.99, down $0.99, or 1.09%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $28.30 billion.
