The company has now been profitable for the last eight quarters, and for the last four, profit has risen year over year by an average of 3.5%. The quarter with the biggest boost was the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year, which saw a 13.2% surge.
Stock Price Performance: During December 30, 2011 to January 31, 2012, the stock price had risen $1.86 (8.9%) from $20.97 to $22.83. The stock price saw one of its best stretches over the last year between January 13, 2012 and January 24, 2012 when shares rose for seven-straight days, rising 4.8% (+$1.07) over that span. It saw one of its worst periods between October 27, 2011 and November 4, 2011 when shares fell for seven-straight days, falling 11.7% (-$2.87) over that span.
