The company’s rating has been lowered by J.P. Morgan to Neutral from Overweight on Monday, and UBS also dropped the rating tob Neutral from Buy. Sprint shares lost ground during the first half of Monday, and it recently traded down 3.9 percent to $5.69.

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ): Current Price: $43.30
As a means to address the necessity for additional eco-friendly fleet vehicles, Verizon decided to collaborate with electric-vehicle developer and manufacturer VIA Motors to produce an extended-range electric cargo van. VIA has been able to develop and build the van, considering Verizon’s direction and fleet concepts, and predicts that it can achieve 100 miles per gallon with near zero emissions. Now, Verizon is to test and deploy two of the vans in New Jersey and New York.
Vodafone Group plc (NASDAQ:VOD): Current Price: $26.18
On Tuesday, the company stated that it purchased 7 million of its ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange from Barclays Capital Securities Ltd. on January 14 for about 164.3073 pence per share, which it will hold in treasury.
MetroPCS Communications, Inc. (NYSE:PCS): Current Price: $9.55
The company is to host a conference call as a way to discuss its financial and operational results for the Q4 of 2012 on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). It will issue a press release that reports its results earlier from the morning.
