June same-store sales at pharmaceutical retailer Walgreens (NYSE:WAG) reportedly rose 4.8% in the month, according to a report from the company this morning. FactSet analysts were reportedly expecting a 2.8% sales hike for the month, so Walgreens came in very strongly by comparison, topping the mark by 2%. Comparable pharmacy sales rose 4.9%, while comparable results also included a 4.7% increase in non-pharmacy front end sales. WAG shares up .37% before the bell this morning.
