Walmart SUPPORTS Online Sales Tax Collection and Mid-Week Dow Movers To Watch

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT), Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) and Target (NYSE:TGT) have been conducted lobbying efforts in favor of firms such as Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) having to collect sales tax in many states at the point of sale of their products. Amazon seems to be giving in to the new procedure, and is using the subsequent talks with representatives of the states as an opportunity to expand its network of U.S. warehouses, according to The Financial Times.
