Watson Pharma Issues Recall and 2 Stocks that Have Hit 52-Week Highs
Target Corp. (NYSE:TGT): According to Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) and other third-party retailers like Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) and Sam’s Club are seeing delays in iPhone 5 pre-orders. MacRumors stated that Best Buy notified one reader that his pre-ordered iPhone could take up to 28 days before it comes into stock. Sam’s Club has indicated to some pre-order customers that deliveries are not expected for another 7-10 business days, Wal-Mart stores have not even received their iPhone 5 stock yet. Their shares closed at $65.44, they are up $0.04 or 0.06% on the day. Target Corp., has traded$47.25 to $65.59 in a 52 week range.

Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC): According to Bloomberg, Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) has reached an agreement to carry the NFL Network and the RedZone Channel. Their shares closed at $94.46, up $0.88 or 0.94% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $57.15 to $93.79.
Watson Pharmaceutical (NYSE:WPI): Watson Laboratories issued a voluntary nationwide recall for two lots of Hydrocodone Bitartrate and APAP Tablets, USP 10 mg/500 mg. A customer complaint was received about tablets that were thicker and darker in shade, than the others. It is possible that some tablets from lots 519406A and 521759A exceeded the weight specification and may contain higher than indicated amounts of the ingredients Hydrocodone Bitartrate and/or Acetaminophen. No reports of injuries related to the recalled product have been received to date. The recall includes the following product lots: Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetaminophen Tablets, USP 10 mg/500 mg, 500 count NDC 00591-0540-05, Lot Numbers 519406A and 521759A both with the expiration date of April 2014.
The shares closed at $83.90, down $0.32 or 0.38% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $55.00 to $84.36.
