WebMD Health Group and Sunopta Among Stocks Dropping to 52-Week Lows

Even when the overall market rises, not all stocks are rising with it. Here are a few companies that dropped to annual lows in market trading action today:

Webmd Health Corp (NASDAQ:WBMD): WebMD says their special committee, formed to sell the company, has “terminated … discussions with potential acquirers and its process to review a potential sale.” If the company takes a big hit, shareholders might want a second opinion. The shares closed at $26.25, down $10.48 or 28.53 percent. Their 52-week trading range had been $25.56 to $58.55.

NxStage Medical (NASDAQ:NXTM): NxStage Medical announced its in-center business, Medisystems, and B. Braun Medical Inc. have extended their supply agreement B. Braun provides its Streamline blood tubing sets for B. Braun Dialog and Dialog+ hemodialysis systems, Medisystems MasterGuard and Buttonhole needles, and ancillary products for sale in the U.S. Extended the amended agreement through 2014, B. Braun will provide sales, marketing and clinical support to U.S. customers. The shares closed at $16.75, down $0.9 or 5.1 percent. Their 52-week trading range had been $16.44 to $27.12.

Sunopta (NASDAQ:STKL): SunOpta’s board , has suspended until further notice, the previously announced strategic review process for Opta Minerals. SunOpta has about  66.4 percent ownership of Opta Minerals and about 64 percent fully-diluted. The Board of Opta Minerals suspended the review citing current challenges in the global market and determining shareholders will be better served with completion and integration of near-term growth opportunities. The shares closed at $4.27, up $0.11 or 2.64 percent. Their 52-week trading range had been  $4.15 to $8.58.

Exco Resources Nl (NYSE:XCO): Bank of America/Merrill rates EXCO Resources Underperform on natural gas weakness. Price target is $11. The shares closed at $9.18, down $0.45 or 4.67 percent. Their 52-week trading range had been $9.33 to $21.04.

Zeltiq Aesthetics (NASDAQ:ZLTQ): The shares closed at $10.25, down $0.91 or 8.15percent. Their 52-week trading range had been $10.77 to $17.41.
