Samsung (SSNLF) came in as the leading original equipment manufacturer with 26 percent of U.S. mobile subscribers, followed by LG with 19.3 percent. Meanwhile, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) increased its market share, ranking third with 14 percent of mobile subscribers, followed by Motorola (NYSE:MMI) with 12.8 percent and HTC with 6.

CME Group (NASDAQ:CME) is said by sources (and Reuters) to be preparing extended trading hours, in a move that the Chicago exchange hopes will innoculate itself from the near 24 hour transactions bid by ICE (NYSE:ICE).
