On Thursday, the company said its Adobe Pass, a component of it project Primetime has become an industry leader in its TV Everywhere services. Upon its use in live streaming the NBC Olympics, Adobe Pass has extended its support to more than 40 sites and mobile apps from 25 top programmers. It has been integrated with more than 150 cable and satellite operators, allowing TV content across devices from the major networks such as Fox, ESPN, CNN, TNT, MTV, Disney and NBC Olympics.
Pritham Shetty, vice president of product management and engineering for Video Solutions at Adobe said in a statement, “As multi-platform video consumption continues to grow rapidly, content providers have to be able to reach audiences and deliver seamless authentication experiences to ensure TV-level scale across all major platforms and device types. By working closely with our broadcast partners and introducing new innovations in Adobe Pass, Adobe is removing major adoption barriers and making the use of TV Everywhere incredibly easy for consumers.”
