Will Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Attempt To Attract More Consumers Also Attract These Top Institutional Shareholders?

Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE:BUD), in a bid to attract more consumers, is packing a pair of new beers with extra alcoholic content. Tests have proven that beer drinkers are looking for higher alcohol and the new beers, Budweiser Black Crown and Beck’s Sapphire, feature six percent alcohol by volume compared to the six percent available in the main brands. InBev has been encouraged by the rapid growth in market shares of their Bud Light Platinum, a 6% alcohol beer that was launched January last year.

Will Anheuser-Busch InBev’s shareholders increase their holdings?  They reported owning a total of 918,010 shares on 12/31/2012. The shares closed at $87.41 on 12/31/2012.
