Will Another Ford Recall Put Off These Top Institutional Shareholders?

Ford Motor (NYSE:F) will recall 3,500 Taurus and Lincoln MKS sedans and Explorer SUVs, reports The Detroit News. The Dearborn automaker stated that it will recall 2,537 of its 2012 Ford Taurus sedans, 968 of its 2012 Lincoln MKS sedans, and 30 of its 2013 Ford Explorer SUVs due to the possibility that fuel tanks may leak at the seam if there is a severe accident. Nearly 3,000 of the vehicles were sold in the U.S., and others were sold in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and other markets. According to a Ford spokeswoman, the company is not aware of any accidents or injuries due to the potentially leaky fuel tanks, but as of February 28, had six reports of tanks with fuel odor or leak.
