Windstream Closes Low and 2 Stocks Slumping to 52-Week Lows

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL): On Wednesday, the United States International Trade Commission upheld tariffs of between 24 and 36 percent on the majority Chinese solar panels, but manufacturers in that country are already averting the duties by assembling their panels in other countries, says The New York Times. Thus, American solar panels may not be helped very much by the tariffs after all. Shares closed down 9.2 percent on the day at $3.65, having been traded in a 52-week range of $3.95 to $12.19.

Windstream Corporation (NASDAQ:WIN) has posted a third quarter consumer broadband service revenue of $115 million, which is up by 4 percent year-over-year. Business service revenue stood at $906 million, marking a 3 percent increase for the same period. Shares closed down 9.66 percent on the day at $8.51, but have been traded in a 52-week range of $9.00 to $12.55.
