For months, Teen Mom fans have raised concerns over Amanda Conner’s TikTok activity. While Conner, who married Ryan Edwards last year after meeting in rehab, insisted she was sober, her uploads suggested otherwise. Confirmation that a relapse did happen came in the early morning hours of Memorial Day weekend. Amanda Conner was arrested near her home in Tennessee on multiple charges, including child abuse. Ryan Edwards was the person who reportedly called the police. Here is everything we know so far.

Amanda Conner was arrested

Amanda Conner is spending the weekend in a Tennessee jail cell. The mother of two, who had a brief appearance on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, was arrested on multiple charges in the early morning hours of May 24. According to official police records, Conner has been charged with DUI, violating implied consent laws, and child abuse.

It appears as though the 35-year-old Tennessee native refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, based on the implied consent charge. The child abuse charge appears to stem from Presley being in the vehicle at the time. Presley is the only child mentioned in the 911 call.

Amanda’s preteen son had been living with Amanda and Ryan for the last several months, though he stopped appearing in her TikTok videos a few months ago. It is unclear if the child is still living with them or whether he has been placed in the care of a relative. Weeks before Amanda’s arrest, fans theorized that Presley might have been staying with Ryan’s parents, based on Instagram updates. That does not appear to have been the case.

Ryan Edwards called 911 on the mother of his child

While Conner was picked up by police and charged with a variety of driving and child abuse charges, officers did not happen upon her themselves. According to a 911 transcript obtained by the Ashley Reality Roundup Group, Edwards called 911 around 4 am on May 24 after he says his wife drove off with their daughter in the car.

According to the 911 call, the incident began when Edwards asked Conner to take a drug test. She refused and drove off with their one-year-old daughter strapped into her car seat. Edwards was tracking Conner’s location in real time and gave her whereabouts to the police, who quickly apprehended her. It is unclear exactly what prompted Edwards to request that Conner take a drug test.

Amanda was already on probation following a February 2026 car accident. Her current charges are a violation of that probation and could lead to jail time.
