Seems like NFL facilities are collapsing lately.
Last year was the Dallas Cowboys practice facility, and yesterday the roof of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome (home of the Minnesota Vikings) collapsed in spectacular fashion:
Unfortunately for Minnesota, the city will now have to deal with a new cost amidst plans to build a new $870 million stadium. I’m sure the city has insurance for the Metrodome, but they’ll first have to prove they didn’t neglect the $68 million structure.
The roof required “250,000 cubic feet of air pressure per minute to remain inflated.” Apparently, that failed.
