Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE:CMG): Jim Cramer ranked this stock a Buy. Cramer previously ranked this stock a Buy on October 29. The stock’s 52-week high is $549.50, and its 52-week low is $257.24. Cramer sat down with Jack Hartung, the CFO of Chipotle Mexican Grill, to discuss the company’s future in the face of higher food prices. Hartung said that a price increase may be on the table in the middle of next year but that, for now, Chipotle is content to wait and see what direction prices take before committing to a move. Hartung noted that Chipotle has always competed on quality rather than price anyways, making such a move less likely to have an impact on the company’s sales numbers. Hartung pointed to a number of little factors, including training times for staff to the company’s success, and hinted that sales in Europe looked very promising. Cramer said that while it can be difficult to predict a company’s short-run movements when the share price is so high, Chipotle was a great longer-term pick for investors.
