David Crosby
American musician David Crosby found fame in the 1960s with the legendary rock bands the Byrds and Crosby Stills & Nash. He has written or co-written countless hits during his decades-long music career, spanning numerous groups, collaborations, and solo projects. Notable songs include “Lady Friend,” “Laughing,” “Long Time Gone,” and “Eight Miles High.”
Despite fallouts with bandmates and recurring personal problems such as a nine-month prison stint for a drug and weapons conviction in 1985, Crosby remains a respected figure for his contributions to folk-rock music.
