David Harbour is an American actor famous for portraying Jim Hopper in the TV series Stranger Things. His role in the hit Netflix drama has earned him numerous accolades, including a Screen Actors Guild Award and Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

Aside from starring as Hawkins’ police chief on Stranger Things, he’s also known for numerous movie roles. He played Alexei/Red Guardian in Black Widow, the title role in 2019’s Hellboy, Shep Campbell in Revolutionary Road, Dexter Tolliver in Suicide Squad, and Ray in A Walk Among the Tombstones.

In addition, he has acted in various Broadway productions. They include Glengarry Glen Ross, The Merchant of Venice, The Rainmaker, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination.
