Harlots is a British-American period drama set in 18th-century London. The TV show follows a rivalry between two brothels’ madams and how the feud affects their families, customers, and others around them. Betrayal, power, and revenge loom large in this Hulu series about an era when women had to marry or turn to sex work to survive.

Harlots originally aired from 2017 to 2019 in three eight-episode seasons. After the third season, the Disney-owned streaming service canceled the series in June 2020.
