3 Tech Titans Making Noise: Apple Boosts Bluetooth, BlackBerry Q10 Sales Are Strong, and Microsoft Drops Office For iOS

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): Among the other headlines surrounding the Cupertino iPhone maker, iOS 7 reportedly sports far superior Bluetooth support for peripheral accessories and devices, such as speakers, fitness trackers, medical devices, and notably, smart watches. Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT): The software giant has dropped its Office 365 program into the iOS format, indication that the company and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) seem to have resolved their contentions over the revenue split — at least for the time being. In order to use it, one must have an existing Office 365 subscription to begin with — the app itself however, is free. This is, for now, an-iPhone only app. Charts, animations and other elements are supported. There’s no iPad version yet, though obviously it will run on the iPad. Offline editing is supported, AllThingsD reports.
