blue apple building modernThere are ten different states with sales tax holidays in August, and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is promoting the sale of its qualifying products through its Apple Online Store and brick-and-mortar retail locations. A new promotional page on Apple’s website offers details on the various states’ tax holiday periods. Of course there are states that never charge sales tax — such as Oregon — but if you live in one of the following ten states, you may want to take advantage of these tax holidays and save yourself some money on your next Apple product purchase.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee all have tax holiday periods in August. Although the various states have different item and cost restrictions, all of them require that the purchases be made only by individuals for personal use — sorry, businesses!

Here is a quick rundown of the 10 states where you can make your next Apple purchase with no state sales tax.
