Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): Carl Icahn has built up a 16 percent stake in Nuance Technologies, which has been used by Apple for its Siri assistant technology. Between his holdings in Nuance and his newly minted stake in Apple, flurries of speculations are whispering that Icahn might pressure Apple to buy all or part of Nuance sometime down the road.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ): HP is ready to offer its blade servers which support Nvidia’s (NASDAQ:NVDA) Grid server GPU platforms, allowing remote access to GPU resources for apps such as PC virtualization, (software vendors Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft are on board) and cloud-based gaming. Servers that feature GPU-packed Grid boards intended to enable PC virtualization will arrive later this year, starting below $9,000.

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN): Amazon has partnered up with Conde Nast to offer a new subscriber service for those purchasers of Conde Nast’s products who like to use Amazon as well. The service will allow magazine subscribers, both digital and print, to manage their subscriptions under an “all access” plan available exclusively through the online retail giant.
