Analyst Alerts: American Express, Apple, US Airways, BroadSoft April 19th
American Express Company (NYSE:AXP): After American Express reported higher than expected Q1 EPS, Argus believes that American Express’ shares are undervalued. The firm expects the company to reduce expenses going forward and it maintains a Buy rating.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): After Verizon reported that activations of Apple’s iPhone on its network dropped 25% during Q1, Piper Jaffray estimates that Apple sold 30M-33M iPhones in Q1. The firm thinks that the Street predicts that Apple sold 30.5M iPhones, while investors’ average estimate has declined to 32M from 33M. Piper Jaffray reiterates its estimate of 33M iPhone sales for the March quarter and maintains an Overweight rating on the stock.
US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE:LCC): US Airways mentioned positively at UBS
BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT): Goldman said Verizon FiOS Digital Voice residential net adds are positive for BroadSoft (NASDAQ:BSFT). Additionally, Verizon expects VoLTE to come at the end of the year or beginning of next, which is a positive for Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT).
