Apple, CA, Continental Resources, Polaris Achieve Annual Stock Price Highs Jan 25th

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5 is currently being developed, according to an unnamed source at iPhone manufacturer Foxconn., 9 to 5 Mac said. There are several sample models of the new device at Foxconn, and they all have 4+ inch displays and look differently than the iPhone 4s, the source said. Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) on December 29 appealed the U.S. International Trade Commission’s “lenient” patent infringement decision against cell phone maker HTC to a federal court, according to Foss Patents. HTC’s products use Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android operating system. The shares closed at $446.66, up $26.25 or 6.24% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $310.50 to $431.37.

Ca Inc. (NASDAQ:CA): CA Technologies’ AppLogic turnkey cloud computing platform has been chosen by Novatrend, a Swiss managed service provider, to launch a new set of cloud services. The CA AppLogic platform enables customers to design, test and deploy complex cloud solutions for end users in less time than build-from-scratch cloud solutions. The shares closed at $25.03, up $2.21 or 9.68% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $18.61 to $25.52.

Continental Resource (NYSE:CLR): Continental Resources reported production of 75,219 barrels of oil equivalent per day, or Boepd, for Q4, a 57% increase over Q4 2010 and an increase of 13% over Q3 2011. Crude oil accounted for 72% of Continental’s Q4 2011 production. The company’s production exit rate for December 2011 was 78,260 Boepd, a 52% increase over December 2010. January 2012 production continues at more than 80,000 Boepd thus far. Full-year 2011 production totaled 22.6 MMBoe, a 43% increase over 2010. Continental increased year-end 2011 proved reserves to 508 MMBoe, 39% higher than 2010. The shares closed at $82.47, up $8.24 or 11.1% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $42.43 to $77.50.

Polaris Industries (NYSE:PII): Reports revenue $782M vs. consensus $752.7M. The shares closed at $65.32, up $2.63 or 4.2% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $36.03 to $65.86.
