Apple Considers Deal With HBO and 3 Tech Titans on the Move

According to Bloomberg, Apple Inc. and HBO are having discussions about bringing HBO’s on-demand programming to Apple’s set-top streaming box. Citing anonymous sources, the article said that the two companies are still working out a deal and are hoping to add it to Apple’s streaming lineup by the middle of this year.
Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG): Current price $773.32
European Union officials said that Google Inc. had submitted proposals aimed at ending a three-year antitrust case that focused on their hugely popular online search service. However, an industry group allied with companies that compete with Google immediately called for caution before accepting the offer.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT): Current price $27.92
A lawsuit filed on Thursday in a Manhattan Court, alleged that Microsoft Corporation has been infringing on patents that allow Internet search engines to effectively place advertisements. I/P Engine Inc. made a statement in the case, saying that Microsoft uses search technology based on inventions by two employees of I/P Engine’s parent company, Vringo Inc.

Intel Corporation has announced that they will display Android devices running a new dual core dual graphics platform as well as OEM and service provider-supported devices based on the company’s new Intel® AtomTM Z2420 platform which will be targeted for emerging markets. This latest technology will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from February 25 to 28.
