InvenSense (NASDAQ:INVN) might be poised to ship units to Apple towards the end of the second quarter, says Wedge Partners, which added that initial shipments are in the low single digit millions. Beyond that, the firm thinks that InvenSense is connected with MediaTeck’s reference design of its 6589 quad-core solution and in Xiami’s newest smartphone, as well.
Theravance (NASDAQ:THRX): Current price $40.36
Following Theravance’s $1 billion royalty deal with Irish drugmaker Elan, Fidelity Investments and the hedge fund Baupost Group got a lift on Monday. The pair are among the biggest shareholders in Theravance, whose shares jumped by 13 percent to $39.62 in early Monday trading. Since early last month, Theravance shares have skyrocketed almost 70 percent, including Monday’s gains.
Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU): Current price $10.67
Shares have been downgraded at JMP Securities from Outperform to Market Perform. JMP lowered the stocks because of valuation, continued weak PC trends, and the risk to recent DRAM pricing capability.
