Apple helped kick off a swath of nostalgia last night, as Cramer felt like reflecting on the performance of major stocks since their IPOs. Apple’s performance was among the all time greats in the last 9 years, returning 3,171 percent to investors over that time. Cramer still likes the stock, and with a positive note from Piper Jaffray recently, things are clearly looking up for Apple as it continues to attract fans.

American Electric Power Co., Inc. (NYSE:AEP): Jim Cramer ranked this stock a Buy. Cramer previously ranked this stock a Buy on July 29, 2013. The stock’s 52-week high is $51.60, and its 52-week low is $40.56.

AEP is Cramer’s stock of choice when compared to AES, as the Mad Money host likes the yield better, and told viewers that AEP was the better play. The company was able to reaffirm its guidance during its most recent earnings report.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (NYSE:COG): Jim Cramer ranked this stock a Buy. Cramer previously ranked this stock a Buy on June 25, 2013. The stock’s 52-week high is $39.04, and its 52-week low is $20.15.

Cramer also included Cabot Oil & Gas on his list of well performing stocks over the past nine years, and specifically, he pointed to the company’s handling of the Marcellus Shale as a reason to be bullish about the stock, and a reason for its success.

The AES Corporation (NYSE:AES): Jim Cramer ranked this stock a Sell. Cramer previously ranked this stock a Sell on July 29, 2013. The stock’s 52-week high is $14.00, and its 52-week low is $9.52.

Conversely, AEP had everything that AES didn’t for Cramer, notably, yield. Speaking to his viewers during the lightning round, Cramer said that, “I look at American Electric Power (NYSE:AEP) with a good yield and I want AEP.”
