Hot Feature: 3 Key Differences Between Google+ and Facebook

According to the blog Top Prospect, Facebook has been successfully taking employees from other companies while holding onto their own. For every 15 people who left Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) for Facebook, Google was only able to take one employee from Facebook. Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) lost 30 employees to Facebook for every one it was able to bring over from the social networking company.

The most painful exodus was that felt by Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO). However, it wasn’t Facebook stealing the company’s employees, but rather LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD). Yahoo has lost 43 employees for every one to the professional network.

Internet stocks affected by Facebook’s brain drain include Yahoo! Inc (NASDAQ:YHOO), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT).
