Will Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5S be available in four different colors? Previous iPhone leaks from earlier this month seemingly confirmed that Apple’s next-generation flagship smartphone would be unveiled in three different colors: gold/champagne, slate/black, and white/silver.
However, it now appears that Apple will also release the iPhone 5S in a graphite/gray color. Once again, well-connected Apple leaker Sonny Dickson is the source of the latest high-quality images of Apple’s upcoming smartphone.
Although it is impossible to confirm the authenticity of these images, it should be noted that Dickson has been the source of many previous leaks of high-quality images of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in various colors. Dickson’s previously leaked images of the other iPhone 5S colors also lined up with images that were posted on the Japanese tech site ASCIIPlus last week.
According to insider sources cited by AllThingsD, Apple will launch its new iPhones in the U.S. on September 10. The flagship model iPhone 5S is expected to be unveiled alongside a lower-cost iPhone 5C model.
The more expensive iPhone 5S model is rumored to have a fingerprint scanner as well as an upgraded A7 processor. On the other hand, the lower-cost iPhone 5C model is expected to help the Cupertino-based company establish a larger footprint in emerging markets such as China and India.
Here’s how Apple has traded over the past five days.
