UK Consumers Give Apple Stores a Hat Tip
British consumers have doffed their collective hats to Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) Stores in the United Kingdom by giving the tech company’s retail stores the highest customer satisfaction rating in a recent survey. Consumer advocate charity Which? conducts the largest annual shopping survey of high street retail shops in the U.K. and Apple Stores topped the ratings for the first time this year.
Apple received an 85 percent satisfaction score. According to the official Which? website, consumers cited the Apple Store’s “great atmosphere and products” as well as the “excellent” and “knowledgeable” staff. Disney (NYSE:DIS), another California-based company, also received high marks for its Disney Stores in the Which? consumer survey.
Ever since the first Apple Store opened in 2001, the retail chain has received accolades for its unique store design and unmistakable branding. Most Apple Stores feature sparse, minimalist interiors constructed from wood, stone, and glass materials. Apple has also been praised for its engaging customer service style as well as the technical advice and product repair services that it offers through its in-store Genius Bars.
