Apple’s Production Ace Makes Another HUGE Investment to Stay Number One

The office of the Taiwan Affairs of Huai’an city in China announced that in accordance with Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) plans to expand manufacturing in China, its Chinese contract manufacturer, Foxconn, would be investing $210 million in a new Apple production line to be built in east China’s Jiangsu province.

The 40,000 square-meter plant would come up in the Huai’an city by October and may hire 35,800 employees. Its production value is expected to touch 6 to 7 billion yuan, with a foreign trade value of about $55.8 million. Foxconn is also planning to build a high-tech manufacturing facility in Hainan, an island province in the south of China.
